Among the authors are author and feminist Laura Ingalls Wilder, author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning The Catcher in the Rye; feminist author of novels like The Bell Jar and The Body, Katherine MacLachlan; writer-activist Julia Serano, who writes under the pen name Julia Serini; and activist Alice Walker, who is the author of Black Girl Dangerous, an online memoir.
Among the writers in the book are Laura Ingall Wilder and Alice Walker who are both members of the Women’s March, the largest protest in U.S. history.
Wilder has been the face of the march in Washington, D.C., since the inauguration of President Donald Trump on Jan. 20.
Walker has been a prominent speaker and writer for women’s rights issues.
The book was published by the Women Writers Project, an organization dedicated to advancing women’s voices in the publishing world.
