Amazon has announced that e-books will no longer be available at the popular e-reader store in the United States.
Amazon has changed its policy on allowing ebooks to be purchased and purchased again at the company’s website.
However, if you want to purchase an e-Book, you can still do so by clicking on the purchase button on the e-Books section of the store.
In an eBooks FAQ, Amazon says the change has been in place to “keep the value of ebooks as high as possible,” but that some customers may still find it difficult to “get their books into the Kindle store.”
Amazon also says that a new app is now available for customers who may be unable to use the eBooks website due to technical problems.
The app is called Amazon Kindle Unlimited.
According to Amazon, “The changes announced today are in place as part of a multi-year commitment to delivering the best customer experience possible to our customers, as well as to ensure that Amazon is fully responsive to customer feedback.”
